“We have known Allan Meisner for about 20 years. During that period of time he has been our consultant, designer and good friend. “We have had three major redecorating and remodeling projects in our home. We have used Allan’s expertise on all of them. The first project involved a kitchen remodel. The next one was a redecorating of a family room, complete with lighting, wall, floor and window coverings, and new furniture. We were delighted with the look and usability of the room.

Our third and most recent project took place in 2000. With Allan and his partner Reed’s help, we raised a sunken living room, took out fireplaces and added windows. The main help I needed was in painting and changing some existing woodwork. The look we ended up with was just what I wanted.

The main point I want to make is that he (Allan) listens to what the client says and is able to translate that into a beautiful look. I usually have an idea of what I want but I’m not sure of how to arrive there. Whenever I have had doubts as to how (my room) would look or how (a piece) would fit into the space, he would just say, “Keep going; It’ll work” and it always does.
